So we all know those movies that have a cult following from a group of particular misogynists that REALLY liked Inception. These movies tend to come across pseudo revolutionary and inherently misogynistic when people blindly fail to recognize their purposely satirical tropes, (ex. very flawed white male protagonist that has very questionable morals) or are directed by people with QUESTIONABLE MORALS. And yes, i do see the irony in my distain towards these movies as a certain Fincher-Sorkin collab about Facebook happens to be probably one of my favorite films of all time.

However my main criticism to film bros is the facade of an open mind. They claim they expand their horizons but said horizons is "Mind fuck movie!" (Inception, Mulholland Drive, any Tarantino) or my personal favorite, "Incredibly average man gets to be with Incredibly exceptional woman!" (Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Annie Hall.) About American Psycho, if this is any man's favorite movie and not because they are a Mary Harron fan, they need to seek serious psychiatric help. Oh, and I’m not even gonna bother to put my 2 cents in about Pulp Fiction. Come on. As for my thoughts on The Wolf of Wall Street, I haven't seen this. I have absolutely no desire to watch this. Listen I really don't wanna sit through a 3 hour movie about finance bros I can observe on my own if i take the train a little farther downtown. Besides, I don't even have to watch this to know there's better Scorsese. I’m gonna pass on this one. I’m full on my fair share of "DiCaprio plays a troubled protagonist". Final opinion: while I don't think all movies that have a film bro following are male dominated dumpster fires, most definitely are. I’m impartial to the movies honestly because this is all subjective, but the true essence of film bro pisses me off. Finally, to all the Ladybird stans, you're not safe either you guys are the other side of the coin.

in the name of the father (quentin tarantino), the son (david fincher) and the holy spirit (christopher nolan), amen.

bye thanks let me know if you enjoyed this if you didn’t don’t let me know i’m sensitive.
